Summer is here and its about time.

I think that the most valuable part of L.A. was the computer skills. Because that is a valubale asset to the job market today the more computer expirence the more jobs. The most memorable thing in L.A. this year was the protopage. Because it was new easy and fun and we got to learn how to make things on the internet so the world can see. The lesson that made me think was the research paper. Only because you had to do so much research to complete it thats why it was so hard because everyone wanted to have as much info on the person as possible to get a very good grade (my protopage is www.protopage.com/j.k.rowling)

In Rehoboth Beach at the little league fields by the outlets. I worked on the big senior league and minor league fields, dragging them and spraying for weeds on the four wheeler.  It was so much fun that we didn’t leave till 10:00 at night because of all the work. But it was fun I got to drive a gator, bunker rake, quad, rhino, backhoe.

Thank you for taking me and my Boy Scout Troop up in your plane. It was fun and to make things better it was my first time going up in the plane. That was really cool that you took the time and money to take us up and around Milton we flew over the school that I go to and got pictures and showed them to my friends that was cool.

Wednsday the 15th i went flying in a small 4 seater propeller plane at 100,000 feet in the air. I circled over miton took an areil picture of Mariner Middle school when we landed. I got off and went home.

Impressive Things In middle school I have done many things. Like getting a boating license, buying a boat, and flying a plane. Those are a few things that I have done in my 3 years of middle school. First of I got my boating license so now I am legally licensed to drive a boat in 48 states so all but Michigan and Wisconsin. There you need a boat license from that state. So to match that my uncles and my aunts my mom bought me a boat. I’ll talk about that later though. A few days ago I flew a plane out of Georgetown Airport. To BWI with the flight instructor. And when I turn 17 I am getting a pilots license to work for a private airline. In Delaware or Boston, that is a good job. In the second paragraph I talked about a boat. Well since my uncle is just too young to have missed the unneeded boating license. I got one so he bought a boat and gave it to me. But the boat is old and needs a lot of repairs. And I changed the name sold it to buy a new 2000 challenger sailboat that I take out into the bay and fish and sail with. So those are three major things that happened in my three middle school years. I’d like to thank my teachers and my parents and family for all there help. 

  J.K. Rowling Famous Author This essay is about J.K. Rowling famous author of the New York Times best selling series Harry Potter. It will tell how she came up with the story and what she went through to write and complete her Award winning series. Also what she went through to get her books published in England and Scotland for that matter. It will also tell of her family and her siblings her daughter and more, also were she has lived all over the UK and in some of Scotland. Joanne Murray was born July 31, 1965 to Peter James Rowling and Anne Rowling, In Yates, Gloucestershire, England which is ten miles north of Bristol. Her sister Dianne was born at home. She moved to Winterbourne at the age of four. Rowling attended St. Michael’s Primary school which was founded over 200 years ago. She admitted that her school time elderly head master Alfred Dunn, Inspired her Albus Dumbledore. At an early age she wrote fantasy stories and read them to her sister. At nine she moved to the of Tutshill close to Chepstow south Whales. Rowling also attended a secondary school called Wyedean School and College. She said that Hermonie was based on herself in adolescence. Rowling moved to London to be a researcher for Bilingual secretary for Amnesty International. On a four hour delay train ride in 1990 from Manchester to London she got the idea for a boy attending a school for wizardry. When she reached a stop at Chapman Junction she began to write immediately.But tragically her mother succumbed to a ten year battle with multiple sclerosis. She moved to Porto Rico to teach English as a foreign language. On October 16^th, 1992 she married TV journalist Jorge Arantes. On July 27^th 1993 her daughter Jessica Isabel Rowling Arantes was born in Portugal, Rowling and Arentes separated in November 1993. In 1994 her and her daughter moved to Edinburgh, Scotland to be near her sister. She was unemployed and living off sate benefits she completed her first novel. To do this she used numerous cafés. When interviewed by BBC Rowling denied the rumor that she wrote in cafés to escape her unheated flat in  Edinburgh in mid winter. On American TV on A&E  Rowling said that one of the reasons that she was taking her baby for a walk was the easiest way to make her fall asleep.  J.K. Rowling finished Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone on an old manual typewriter. Christopher Little literary agents helped her on her quest for a publisher. Her book was sent to 12 different publishers who all rejected it. Until a year later when she got the green light from editor Barry Cunningham from Bloomsbury a small British publishing house in London, In October 1998 Warner Bros. purchased the film rights to the first two novels they were purchased in a seven figure sum. In June 2004 they released Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, in July 2007 Warner Bros. released Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is expected to release in 2012, David Yates is director again and Kloves will return to write the screen play. The first four films were written y Kloves with Rowling. In Hollywood unlike most companies took Rowling’s  ideas into consideration and followed a lot of what is in the book. All of the Harry Potter films were shot in Britain and the cast was British, also demanded by Rowling that Coca-Cola the winner in the race to tie in their product into the film series. Rowling donated $18 million dollars to the American charity Reading is Fundamental.  J.K. Rowling told Kloves more about the future books than anyone else. Steven Spielberg was to direct one of the movies but quickly refused, some say Rowling had a hand in him rejecting the movie, but she claims she has no choice or hand in who the director is.  Rowling states that she will continue to write books after the final Harry Potter. In 2006 she finished a few short stories, and another children’s book. She says that she will be writing an encyclopedia of the Harry Potter world called Wizarding World, all the profits of the book will go to charity. When asked by Kodak Theatre how the book was coming she said the book wasn’t coming, She, said I haven’t started it yet that it could take ten years or more no point on making book unless its good. She is working on two books one for kids and one for adults, she said that it reminded her of writing the philosophers stone two books one for adults and one for kids until Harry took over. Her future work will not likely be fantasy, because it would be hard making a new world that isn’t like or takes off of Harry’s world.Forbes named Rowling the first US-dollar billion-air by writing books. In 2001 she bought a 19^th century estate on the banks of the river Tay in Perth and Kincross Scotland. She is a member of the church of Scotland, she has been married twice. She is not known for her relationship with the press, because she was thin skinned and didn’t like the fickle business of reporting. One reason for her to say that is because that unauthorized photo’s of her daughter on a beach in Mauritius that were published in Inok magazine. Sadly Rowling lost the court case which was trying to ban the photo of her son in the Sunday Express on life and mother hood. Rowling in public announced that she disliked a brutish tabloid called Daily Mail that keeps say there is a stalker when she insists that there is not. It is said that she based press character in Harry Potter on an unknown Journalist. Rowling contributes to charity’s that battle poverty, she also gives to organizations that aid children. The U.K. anti-poverty fundraiser asked the top three British writers to write little booklets for the fundraiser. The two booklets she wrote were Fantastic Beasts and Were to Find Them, and Quidditch through the ages. In 2005 Rowling and MEP Emma Nicholson founded the Children’s High Level Group. In 2006, Rowling went to Bucharest to highlight the use of caged beds in children’s mental facilities. To further support the CHLG, Rowling auctioned seven hand written and illustrated copies of The Tales of Beetle The Bard, the book was purchased on line for 1.9 million pounds. Rowling plans on giving the remaining copies of Beetle the Bard to friends and family.  Rowling commented. “This means so much to the children despite there desperate need of help. Rowling is a generous woman who gives numerous dollars and hours to children’s organizations all over the world.  So I hope you have learned a little more than you already new about J.K. Rowling or as her family calls her Joanne Murray.

The Patriot

 This movie is set in the Colonial American times when America was fighting for Independence. A man named Benjamin Martin, after a battle out in the fields of his plantation aids wounded soldiers. Both American and British. A large British force comes to collect the dead and wounded. An elite Green Dragoon regiment lead by a fuscous man. Came and thanked Benjamin Martin but when he got Rebel dispatches and Gabreil Martin said that he had. And the man saw the Americans he ordered the house and barns be burned and the livestock killed and the horses for the Dragoons. Then they killed all the Americans as the house burned once the English left, Benjamin went into the house got all the guns and military gear handed two muskets to his next oldest boys Nathan and Samuel.

Told his daughter to hide the youngest of the boys and her sister in the fields. If they were not back by dark she was to take them to their aunt Charlotte. The three man war party set out after the British troops who are taking Gabriel to the fort to be hanged as a spy.  And the Dragoon killed the next oldest older then Nathan back at the farm. So they hid in the brush and open fired as they aimed for the officers there dad covered them y shooting the troops that are taking aim to fire at the boys. After Gabriel’s rescue they headed to the plantation of aunt Charlotte. The two men head for the army base to enlist again.

After a long rain of militia attacks on the roads of British supplies they fight in open ground against the Brits as they advanced they ran and right into the Colonial Regulars. And the British retreated back to York, were the long awaited French cut them off and America wins with a narration at the end

Harry Potter and the Sorccer’s Stone

Harry Potter and the Sorccer’s Stone was one of the best books I have read. I liked the book so much that I actually bought it. 

This story is about a young boy that was left to his aunt and uncle as a child. Because of his world that he was born. He was actually the only survivor of the feared dark wizard Lord Voldomort. Who killed his mother and father. Because they were some of the people who were brave enough to resist him. So the wizards said to take the child and give him to his only family left muggles (non-magic folk). As people may know that the boy in the magical world is famous. An icon of survival. Against one whom no one else survived. So when Harry got a letter from a witch and wizard school called Hogwarts. But for Harry Potter he is moved with his adopted family to a light house to hide from the letters.

So the grounds keeper at Hogwarts comes by way of flying motorcycle. To give Harry his 13^th birthday cake. Once there Dudley tries to eat the cake so Haggrad  turns him into a pig. As he takes Harry off to his own world were he belongs. Once at Hogwarts Harry makes new friends named Ron and Harmony. Who all by luck get put into the same house Gryffindor were Ron’s two older brothers are already there. So at Christmas Harry gets a gift from someone unknown. It was an invisibility cloak. When he sneaks around he finds a mirror that shows him his desire which is his family alive again. So he tells Ron and Ron sees what he desire a house quidditch  

world cup. At the end
